The Samsung Solve for Tomorrow challenge will be organized in Singapore for the third year.
In this competition, students will attempt to use technology to solve problems related to social issues in Singapore.
This year, there will be a secondary school category, in addition to local universities, polytechnics and the Institute of Technical Education.
Teams taking part in the secondary school category will submit a proposal, while shortlisted teams from other categories will present their ideas at a final pitch session.
There are $180,000 worth of prizes in total, and students can also win a study trip to South Korea.
The competition is supported by the Infocomm Media Development Authority.
